To romantics the description or term Art Deco (Le Style 25) was derived from the luxuriant French design style that reached the 1925 Paris World Fair - Exposition International des Arts Dcoratifs et Industriels Modernes (“International Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts”)

The style evolved in Paris, France where it manifested into Europe and United States of America, with its exuberance, colour, and playfulness.

The Art Deco style demonstrated elegance, luxury, and excitement, with its clean and pure approach. The use of lines in art deco in one instance could be curved, gradual and sweeping, and in another could be as straight as a ruler.
